Product Review: Ikea Lillabo wooden 20 pc train set.

Who doesn’t love Ikea! Ikea isn’t just for home wares and furniture, they also stock a range of quality wooden toys. Today I will be reviewing the 20-piece Lillabo train set.

My 5yr old son was very excited about this product, my other half however was skeptical that such a basic looking toy could occupy our hard to amuse child.

Although it looks small in the packaging, this set makes for a decent sized track. The pieces are easy to connect and stay together well during play unlike some other train sets. Each piece is made out of quality timber and built to stand the test of time. The train features 4 individual pieces that stay connected via magnets. Ikea also sell additional sets that you can add on for even more fun.

Despite my partner’s reservations, our little Mr absolutely loves the train set. He plays with it for long periods of time and has been pulling it out to play daily since we received it. This toy is definitely a must have for all little boys, and a total bargain at only $20! This is definitely one to add to your Christmas shopping list.
